Welcome to DeenHub (hereinafter the “App”), operated by DeenHub, a sole proprietorship based in the United States. By downloading, installing, or using the DeenHub App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the App, including its features for finding nearby mosques, Quran memorization, Qibla direction, hadith, dua, AI chatbot, and in-app purchases or subscriptions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users worldwide, regardless of your country of residence or location. There are no age requirements for using the App, and it is suitable for users of all ages. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and significant changes will be communicated via email, in-app notifications, or on our website (www.deenhub.app).

Eligibility

The DeenHub App is available to users of all ages with no age restrictions. By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms or that you have permission from a parent or guardian if required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

License to Use the App

DeenHub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:

  • Modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile the App.

  • Copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.

  • Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems or servers.

App Features and Services

The DeenHub App provides features to support your spiritual growth, including:

  • Nearby Mosque Identification: Locate nearby mosques with adhan and iqamah times, verified by other users, using location data (with your consent).

  • Quran Memorization: Tools to memorize the Quran by repeating verses, adjusting play speed, and tracking progress by marking verses as “memorized,” “reviewing,” or “learning.”

  • Qibla Direction: A feature to determine the direction of the Qibla (with your consent).

  • Hadith: Access to hadith for learning and reflection.

  • Dua: A collection of supplications to support your spiritual practice.

  • AI Chatbot: An AI-powered feature for answering questions related to Islamic practices, powered by the OpenAI API.

  • Other Features: Additional tools for Islamic habit tracking, prayer reminders, and spiritual growth.

We strive to ensure the App’s features are accurate and reliable but cannot guarantee the following:

  • Quran Translation Authenticity: While we source Quran translations from reputable publishers, we do not guarantee their authenticity or accuracy. You are responsible for verifying the authenticity of translations used in the App. We recommend consulting qualified Islamic scholars for authoritative guidance.

  • Hadith Authenticity: While we source hadith from trusted collections, we do not guarantee their authenticity or accuracy. You are responsible for verifying the authenticity of hadith presented in the App. We recommend consulting qualified Islamic scholars for authoritative guidance.

  • AI Chatbot Answers: The AI chatbot feature uses the OpenAI API, and we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of its responses. The chatbot is intended for informational purposes only and may not provide religiously authoritative answers. We filter chatbot outputs to prevent inappropriate content, but you should consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious guidance. By using the chatbot, you agree to comply with OpenAI’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

  • Encryption: The App uses standard encryption (e.g., HTTPS) to protect your data during transmission, and we comply with applicable export regulations for encryption technologies.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-verified data (e.g., adhan or iqamah times), the reliability of location-based services, or the availability of all features at all times. User-verified content, such as mosque timings, is provided by other users and is not controlled or guaranteed by DeenHub.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Certain features of the App, such as premium Quran memorization tools, ad-free experiences, or enhanced chatbot functionality, may require in-app purchases or subscriptions, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase or subscribing:

  • You agree to the pricing, payment, and billing policies of the respective app store.

  • Pricing is clearly displayed in the App, and you can restore purchases via the App’s settings or your app store account.

  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and DeenHub does not handle refund requests directly.

For subscription management or cancellation, please use the account settings in the respective app store.

User Content and Conduct

You may provide content, such as personal information, habit-tracking data, or user-verified mosque timings, when using the App. By providing content, you:

  • Grant DeenHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process this content solely to provide and improve the App’s services, including displaying user-verified mosque timings to other users.

  • Represent that any content you submit, such as mosque timings, is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate the rights of others.

  • Agree not to submit content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or violates platform content policies (e.g., hate speech, violence). We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove user-submitted content that violates these Terms or platform policies. You may report inaccurate or inappropriate content (e.g., mosque timings) via the App’s reporting feature, and we may block users who repeatedly submit false or harmful content.

You are responsible for your conduct while using the App and agree not to:

  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others.

  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the App’s functionality.

  • Submit false or misleading information, such as inaccurate mosque timings.

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to function, including:

  • Firebase (by Google) for analytics and crash reporting.

  • Apple / Google Play for in-app purchases and subscriptions.

  • OpenAI API for the AI chatbot feature.

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review:

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

App Store Compliance

DeenHub is available on:

When downloading or using the App through these platforms, their terms of service apply in addition to these Terms:

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, including location data. The Privacy Policy is accessible within the App’s settings or “About” section. Please review the Privacy Policy for more information.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and designs in the App, including text, graphics, logos, software, and curated hadith or dua content, are the property of DeenHub or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the App without prior written permission from DeenHub.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason, such as legal compliance or technical necessity. Upon termination, your license to use the App will end, and you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your device.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-verified content (e.g., mosque timings), Quran translations, hadith, AI chatbot responses, or the reliability of location-based services, nor do we guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components. If you encounter bugs or performance issues, please report them to support@deenhub.app to help us improve the App. Your use of the App is at your own risk, and you are responsible for verifying the authenticity of Quran translations and hadith provided in the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeenHub, its owner, and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, or inaccuracies in user-verified content, Quran translations, hadith, or AI chatbot responses. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases or subscriptions in the preceding 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeenHub, its owner, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, submission of inaccurate user-verified content, reliance on Quran translations, hadith, or AI chatbot responses, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

International Users

The App is operated from the United States and is available worldwide. If you use the App from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with local laws. This includes laws related to religious content, which may vary by region. For users in the European Union, we comply with GDPR requirements as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website (www.deenhub.app), and we will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DeenHub regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

By using DeenHub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
